CONTRAINDICATIONS

MUST READ PRIOR TO BOOKING (call for appointment)

NOT recommended for clients with the following conditions
• Pregnant or nursing
• Botox or derma fillers on or around the enhancement area within the last month
• Taken accutane in the past year & your skin has not regulated
• Diabetic (must be controlled & approved by your doctor)
• Autoimmune Disorders (must have doctor consent form)
• Chemotherapy in the past year
• Contagious diseases & viral infections
• Epileptic/prone to seizures
• Within 3 weeks of chemical peel, must be fully healed prior to appointment.
• Active sunburn or frostbite
• Current use of products with ingredients such as Alpha or beta hydroxy acids(Retin-A products) Must discontinue use at least 14 days before appointment
• Use of blood thinners or blood pressure medications
• History of keloids

Proper preparation for a microblading appointment will also help to achieve the best possible healed results, so be sure to prepare accordingly. Just a few notes and reminders before your appointment:

* No caffeine, stimulants, alcohol day of appointment 24 hours before procedure *IMPORTANT* Caffeine causes more bleeding and swelling 
* No RetinA skincare products for at least 2 weeks 
* Do not work out or sweat heavily the day of the procedure (or 2 weeks after)
* Consult doctor if you have medical conditions concerns before booking your appointment and please bring doctor note
* No chemical peels , must be fully healed 3 weeks prior to appointment 
* No Botox treatments should be done 3 weeks prior or 4 weeks after procedure
* Stop taking aspirin or ibuprofen 48 hours before procedure
* Have an idea of what you want (natural, natural/makeup, makeup look & color)
* You can come to appointment with makeup on so I can see the colored preference of your eyebrows
* Please don’t moisturize your face. Microblading works best on dry skin. 
* Bring your own blanket to your appointment if you tend to get chilly

PLEASE FOLLOW PRE-CARE INSTRUCTIONS. IT CAN CAUSE EXCESSIVE BLEEDING AND THEREFORE I CANNOT SEE MY WORK AND WILL HAVE TO SEND YOU HOME AND YOUR DEPOSIT WILL BE FORFEITED. 

Aftercare DAY 1-10 instructions:
* Gently wash your procedure area each morning and night with water and antibacterial soap. With a very light touch, use your fingers to gently cleanse the affected skin and pat dry
* Wash your hands thoroughly before applying Aquaphor or any ointment on your brows (less is more!)
* Put VERY thin amount of Aquaphor and apply on brows.
* Do not get your eyebrows soaked in the shower for up to 10 days. Avoid saunas, sweating, and swimming.
* Do not wear makeup for up to 7 days
* Avoid applying cleanser and moisturizer to your eyebrows 
* Avoid using any cleansing products that contain exfoliants or acids (glycolic, lactic, or AHA).
* Avoid direct sun exposure for 4 weeks and if you plan to be in the sun, wear sunscreen on your eyebrows and a hat
* Do not scratch or irritate scabs
* Do not drink alcohol excessively as it may slow down the healing process
* Avoid activities that involves debris in the air that could settle on your microbladed treated area
* AVOID PEELING YOUR BROWS

THIS IS NOT A PROCEDURE OR IN-PERSON. Consultations are for clients who have questions, concerns, or seeking more information about the services provided. Consultations can be virtual via Zoom or emailed to joglowbeauty@yahoo.com with a photo of your eyebrows.
Then, an assessment can be done to see how to move forward with next steps. If you book a consultation with no email, I assume you’ll be joining me in a Zoom call with the time you selected.

Microblading is creating hair-like strokes by adding semi-permanent pigment into the skin using a handheld tool made of needles. It will create and enhance the eyebrows appearance in terms of shape and color to achieve natural-looking brows. It’s a two-step process; an initial appointment where we talk about and get your eyebrows how you want them and then the touch up where we go over what I did initially and fix any unevenness or the color, or shape. Results should last 2-3 years.

Powder Brows - $50

Powder brows is semi permanent makeup technique designed to create eyebrows with soft powder effect, similar to powder makeup. Powder effect is done with a shading technique using a permanent makeup device, which looks like a tattoo gun. However, even powder brows heal natural. It doesn’t go deep into the skin like a tattoo does. It’s a two-step process; an initial appointment where we talk about and get your eyebrows how you want them and then the touch up where we go over what I did initially and fix any unevenness or the color, or shape. Results should last 2-3 years. Powder brows is good for ALL skin types.

Brow Cover Up - $50

This service is for clients who have had their eyebrows previously microbladed by me previously and getting their 6-8 week touch up. If you book after 8 weeks from your initial appointment, there will be a higher charge depending on your brow retention.

Color Boost/ Annual Touch Up - $50

This is only for clients who got their eyebrows done by me and did the initial and 8-week touch up appointment. After 2 years, please book for new initial appointment.

Saline Removal - $50

FOLLOWING TREATMENTS $100

Saline removal is a less invasive alternative to laser tattoo removal. It is a common and very effective approach to lightning/removing tattoos. A natural saline solution called Li-FT is used and implanted over the existing permanent makeup or tattoo using a hand held machine and breaks up the pigment underneath the skin. The process lifts the pigment out of the skin via osmosis. As it begins to heal, a scab will form and will fall off, thus revealing a lightened tattoo.

LIP BLUSH

Lip blushing is a semi-permanent tattoo that can enhance the color and shape of your lips and give the impression of more fullness. This is done by depositing color ink into your lips and along your lip line to improve the overall look. The color is subtle to give natural-looking results.
